AccuCare Home Nursing was founded in 1995 with a single, unwavering belief: that people deserve to receive compassionate, high-quality care in the place they love most: home. For over three decades, that belief has guided every decision we make, every caregiver we hire, and every family we serve.
Founder's Message
"In 1983, my fifty-three-year-old mother was given just six weeks to live after waging a six-year battle with breast cancer. Not only was this the most devastating news, but the thought of having my mother spend her final days in an institution was unacceptable to me. I wanted the opportunity to care for my mother one last time in the comfort of our own home, where she would be surrounded by all the familiar things that made our house her home.
Given the state of her health and her medical needs, we knew we needed professional help. Fortunately, we learned about home care and the services available, which allowed my mother to remain in her own home, and to die in my arms, with my brother by our side.
That moment would forever impact me, and the direction my life would take. It was this experience that led me to establish AccuCare Home Nursing in 1995. It is my wish that every individual and family know that home care is there to offer all the support you need as you face the challenge of illness. The AccuCare Difference
AccuCare Home Nursing is a Medicare-certified home health agency. We are licensed, bonded, insured, and accredited by CHAP, the same accreditation standard held by hospitals. We offer a full spectrum of services, from skilled nursing visits and 24-hour shift care to personal assistance and live-in support.
Our multidisciplinary team includes Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Home Health Aides, Physical Therapists, and Occupational Therapists, all working together to deliver care that is clinical in its quality and personal in its delivery.
